According to my experience, a conception of language, or above all of political language, and a conception of politics have philosophical sources by necessity. In this view, I will cite Hannah Arendt on the conception of political space, H. G. Gadamer on the power of language on the human mind and existence; also R. Koselleck on the conception of the “semantic fight”. I am also interested in Quentin Skinner’s work The Foundations of Modern Political Thought, inasmuch as he is concerned with what he chooses to call “ideologies” – a term I will have to discuss.
