Royal Logistic Corps On its formation in 1992 the RLC represented a major organizational change by bringing together the Army’s main transport and supply organizations. It was formed from an amalgamation of the Royal Corps of Transport, Royal Army Ordnance Corps, Royal Pioneer Corps, Army Catering Corps, and the postal and courier elements of the RE (who retain their RE cap badge).
